We're really happy to have these stunning maps restocked in store. They are practically shouting - demanding - for central wall space. Mills Canvas: Quality Canvas Bags by Sailmakers

You know why you like these bags. Alongside the many other canvas bag labels, these are hand-crafted by master sewers in the oldest sail loft in America. They boast a family brand heritage spanning decades and most importantly, they make each bag like it was their own.

We've carried the classic, bright canvas colours of Mills in our store for awhile now. But along with the new year, we've also decided to shake things up at our store - by picking new colours + matching new trimmings (blue handles!) for this new selection at rockstar.

Alongside new colourways, we've also introduced new styles to meet your various needs: The Duffel bag for short getaways or the gym, as well as the Steamer Tote, which you won't even be able to find on the Mills website.

Like always, these iconic bags are created using the same rugged canvas and stitching used to make their weather resistant marine canvas and awnings, so you know that they'll last year after year. Most importantly, their iconic silk label remains - quietly telling you that you carry the very best.

Beatles, Twiggy, Sex Pistols, and The Queen

Have you seen the Penguin Decades series in our store? It's the most amazing bunch of books that have - over the course of 40 years - shaped and reflected modern Britain. Featuring some of the most celebrated and controversial stories, some of these were bestsellers, some were considered scandalous, while others were simply misunderstood. Plus we really like the covers!

The 1950s was the decade of post-war glamour, Barbie dolls, Pop Art and the Cold War. Britain celebrated the coronation of Elizabeth II and welcomed the Angry Young Men. The teenager was invented, rayguns were the toys of the moment, and Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley changed the face of modern culture forever.

The 1960s was the decade of social revolution, anti-war protests, liberal reforms, civil rights and psychedelia. Skirts got shorter and hair got longer, London swung, the Berlin Wall went up, a man walked on the moon, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones reigned and England even won the world cup.

The 1970s was a decade of anger and discontent. Britain endured power cuts and strikes. America pulled out of Vietnam and saw its President resign from office. Feminism and face lifts vied for women’s hearts (and minds). And for many, prog rock, punk and disco weren’t just music but ways of life.

The 1980s was the decade when Thatcher reigned and money talked. It was a time of boom and bust, yuppies, New Romantics, riots, miners’ strikes, Live Aid and the Falklands, ending with the fall of the Berlin Wall, the collapse of Communism and the triumph of shopping.

Brixton S/SU11: Men's Wear

If you're male, work in an office, have a wife, a child or two and wear a tie most of the time, you're exactly who we're looking for. We want to prove that you can look as good on a weekend as you do on weekdays. Nothing that takes more than a minute to pull off and with the kind of comfort you're used to. It would be great to test drive these qualities on you with the new Brixton shirts in store - we might just be right.

Brixton S/SU 2011: Head this way

Time to dress yourself up from head to toe, quite literally! We're very happy with how the new Brixton hats look. Now available in store, see more styles below.

Brixton S/Su 2011: The Castor

Like a good pair of Converse, some Brixton models are made gender-less. The Castor - lightweight, chirpy and suave - is one of them. Straw meets fedora to bring us this match made in heaven. We love it.
